You actually have two Personal Pages. A private personal page that you, as the registered walker, see after you log in. This is also the page where you can start personalizing your page and preview your changes.
The other personal page is the public version. This is the page your sponsors/donors see when they contribute to your walk. Your sponsors/donors will see only what you want them to see. They will not have the functionality to update or edit your personal page like you have.
The URL or Web address you give to your sponsors/donors so they can contribute to your walk is http://www.walkamerica.org/username.
For example, if your username is johndoe, your URL is http://www.walkamerica.org/johndoe. Use this address in e-mails to your sponsors or donors, so they will be able to sponsor you directly from your page.
Donations made through this page will be automatically tabulated and recorded in your sponsor form, and will appear on your personal page.
This page also has a link for more information about your walksite. Click on "Walk Site Details." A pop-up window opens with details such as your chapter's phone number, a map to your walksite and fundraising incentives.
