Where To Send The Money

Before, during and after the walk, you may find that your donors (those that choose not to donate to you online) will be putting money in your hand.  Cash or Check pledges will come directly to the walker, in most instances, and the walker will be responsible for getting that money to his/her own local chapter.

There are three (3) different methods for turning in your monies raised during any given walk season.  Please make sure to include your "printable sponsor form" when you use any one of these options.

BANK DAYS:  Around the country, at all of our March Of Dimes localities, each chapter has orchestrated with a local banking institution a day where walkers can come in and turn in all the physical monies that they've raised towards their walk.  Volunteers and bank personnel will be at a banking center (designated by your local chapter) collecting the funds and tabulating your totals for the year.

DAY OF THE WALK:  On the day of the walk, volunteers and chapter-staff will be at the walksite to collect the monies raised by all the walkers, and to assist them with whatever they need.

POST-WALK:  Sometimes it occurs that a walker will receive cash/check pledges after the walk, or s/he forgot to turn in his/her money before the walk (bank day) or the day-of (at the site).  In this case, the walker can send in all cash/check pledges collected for this year's fundraising campaign and send it directly to the local chapter.
