What To Do For Cancellations/Inclement Weather?

Q: I am a walker, and I will be participating in one of the WalkAmerica Events in the near future.  I was concerned about inclement weather and what we walkers should do in case of bad weather?.  And if you don't know how I would got about finding out?

 

A: The answer to this question lies solely with the discretion of the local chapter.  Only they will be able to make that call, regarding weather in the area and whether they want to continue having the event that day.  In order to find out, I would recommend you contact the local chapter first thing in the morning, the day of the event.  You can find their contact information by visiting http://www.marchofdimes.com and entering in your zip code in the upper right-hand portion of the screen, then click "go".  The very next page will have their contact information at the top.
